A white flowerering plant attracts a Monarch butterfly which is enjoying the pollen provided. This butterfly is well-known in North America for its wide-ranging migrations. In Australia, where it was first sighted around 1871 it is also known as the Wanderer and often inhabits urban areas where its milkweed food plant can be found.
About Margaret Saheed
While photography has always been a passion, my painting adventure began after visiting a wildlife art exhibition in Melbourne, Australia. Exploring ways to create colorful contemporary images featuring animals, flowers and other elements of nature was a new venture for me. Now I am studying the exciting creation of digital paintings. Having graduated from Melbourne University with a BA(Hons) specialising in international relations, I am interested in portraying the world's exotic species.
