A diligent meerkat sentry keeps watch in all directions. Meerkats (Suricata suricatta) are small mammals also known as suricates and are members of the mongoose family. They live in dry, open country in southern Africa.
About Margaret Saheed
While photography has always been a passion, my painting adventure began after visiting a wildlife art exhibition in Melbourne, Australia. Exploring ways to create colorful contemporary images featuring animals, flowers and other elements of nature was a new venture for me. Now I am studying the exciting creation of digital paintings. Having graduated from Melbourne University with a BA(Hons) specialising in international relations, I am interested in portraying the world's exotic species.
