Asian Small-Clawed Otters are the smallest of the otter species and their native habitat extends from India across to southern China and down through Southeast Asia. They are very vocal and live in extended family groups in areas where there are streams, rivers, rice paddies and coastal mangrove swamps. Their long, sensitive whiskers help locate prey in the murky water and they also use their hands to search for prey under rocks.

While photography has always been a passion, my painting adventure began after visiting a wildlife art exhibition in Melbourne, Australia. Exploring ways to create colorful contemporary images featuring animals, flowers and other elements of nature was a new venture for me. Now I am studying the exciting creation of digital paintings. Having graduated from Melbourne University with a BA(Hons) specialising in international relations, I am interested in portraying the world's exotic species.
