Cape Honeysuckle (Tecoma capensis, previously called Tecomaria capensis) is an evergreen shrub native to southern Africa, which can be trimmed to form a hedge and attracts nectar-feeding birds, especially sunbirds. The powdered bark is also used as a traditional medicine.
About Margaret Saheed
While photography has always been a passion, my painting adventure began after visiting a wildlife art exhibition in Melbourne, Australia. Exploring ways to create colorful contemporary images featuring animals, flowers and other elements of nature was a new venture for me. Now I am studying the exciting creation of digital paintings. Having graduated from Melbourne University with a BA(Hons) specialising in international relations, I am interested in portraying the world's exotic species.
