Artist's Description

Asian small-clawed otters are very playful. One otter in this painting
is holding a favorite smooth pebble. Their long sensitive whiskers help
locate prey in the murky water and this species also use their hands to
search for prey under rocks.

Margaret Saheed

While photography has always been a passion, my painting adventure began after visiting a wildlife art exhibition in Melbourne, Australia. Exploring ways to create colorful contemporary images featuring animals, flowers and other elements of nature was a new venture for me. Now I am studying the exciting creation of digital paintings. Having graduated from Melbourne University with a BA(Hons) specialising in international relations, I am interested in portraying the world's exotic species.
