Artist's Description

Bell Miners, also known as Bellbirds, are honeyeaters who live in large social groups in open eucalypt forests and woodlands with dense understorey in eastern and south eastern Australia, as far south as Melbourne, Victoria. More often heard than seen, they are identified by their characteristic bell-like 'tink'.

About Margaret Saheed

Margaret Saheed

While photography has always been a passion, my painting adventure began after visiting a wildlife art exhibition in Melbourne, Australia. Exploring ways to create colorful contemporary images featuring animals, flowers and other elements of nature was a new venture for me. Now I am studying the exciting creation of digital paintings. Having graduated from Melbourne University with a BA(Hons) specialising in international relations, I am interested in portraying the world's exotic species. My aim is to capture their unique personalities and hope they will inspire you to learn more about wildlife and conservation. Images Copyright 2024 Margaret Saheed. All Rights Reserved.
