Blue and yellow macaws live in habitat ranging from forest to palm trees beside rivers and swamps in an area from Panama south to Paraguay. Their powerful beaks are hinged to enable them to crush very tough nuts.

While photography has always been a passion, my painting adventure began after visiting a wildlife art exhibition in Melbourne, Australia. Exploring ways to create colorful contemporary images featuring animals, flowers and other elements of nature was a new venture for me. Now I am studying the exciting creation of digital paintings. Having graduated from Melbourne University with a BA(Hons) specialising in international relations, I am interested in portraying the world's exotic species.
